Buttoned Shirt, 2024

Repurposed fabrics, buttons

Buttoned Shirt is a durational performance piece with a sculptural product. From September 21st to November 21st of 2024, Riku sewed three buttons onto a button-up shirt every single day, adding on fabric as needed. At the end of the duration, her friend dressed and undressed her in the shirt; buttoning each button one by one.
